Floriane Essling and Lauren Herz have been named in International Employment Lawyer’s (IEL) Tomorrow’s Leaders 2025 survey. The survey features experts from across four continents, selected based on their involvement in high-profile or innovative disputes, advisory projects, or deals during their first decade of practice – and are those who will be at the forefront of tomorrow’s employment and labour law challenges.
Of counsel in the firm’s Labour and Employment team in Paris, Ms. Essling’s experience includes advising on due diligence, social plans, negotiating and concluding collective agreements on topics such as working time, information and consultation procedures for representatives. She also helps clients with the implementation of business reorganisations, and the implementation of disciplinary and grievance and dismissal procedures.
Ms. Herz is a senior associate in the New York team. She represents companies across the US in wage and hour, harassment, discrimination, retaliation and trade secret litigation. Ms. Herz also conducts investigations, negotiates executive agreements and supports clients in large scale reductions in force. She leads employment diligence on mergers and acquisitions and defends employers in agency audits and inquiries.
Squire Patton Boggs won ‘Investigations Team of the Year’ at IEL’s 2024 Awards and was an award finalist for ‘International Employment Law Team of the Year’ and ‘Global Mobility Team of the Year.’ The firm also features in the IEL Elite, a list of the leading teams across the world that have impressed with their performance on groundbreaking mandates, business-critical workforce issues and major cross-border projects.
