Squire Patton Boggs has won ‘Investigations Team of the Year’ at the International Employment Lawyer (IEL) Awards 2024. The Awards, held in London this week, recognise the very best private practice and in-house teams from around the globe. The firm was also an award finalist for ‘International Employment Law Team of the Year’ and ‘Global Mobility Team of the Year.’
In recognising the firm’s achievements, IEL said: “A key strength of Squire Patton Boggs is a cross-practice team capable of conducting a wide range of investigations for both public institutions and private businesses operating across a range of sectors. Highlights this year include investigations for an intergovernmental organisation, a FTSE 250 firm, a UK-headquartered multinational, and a global fashion brand. The high-profile and sensitive investigations ranged from complex financial matters and the most highly sensitive public interest cases, to serious allegations of harassment, bullying, and discrimination. Clients of the practice, led by Alison Treliving, have benefitted from increased collaboration with the international firm’s global labour and employment team and government investigations and white-collar crime teams.”
“We are thrilled to have achieved this recognition for our investigations work,” commented Ms. Treliving, co-chair of the firm’s global Labour and Employment Practice Group.
“These awards cap an exceptionally busy year for us. In addition to winning new clients and mandates, the number of instructions we’ve received for multijurisdictional projects has more than doubled, and the work of our specialist immigration team continues to go from strength to strength. This recognition means a lot because it reflects views across our industry and I am so proud of our team and all that we have achieved.”
