Global Board Appointments at Squire Patton Boggs

Global law firm Squire Patton Boggs is pleased to announce that partners Gabriel Colwell (Government Investigations & White Collar, Los Angeles) and Max Rockall (International Dispute Resolution, London) have been elected by the firm’s partners to serve on the Global Board.

Gabriel is a trial lawyer who focuses his practice on white collar criminal defense, internal investigations and complex business litigation representing corporations and individuals at all phases of government investigations and prosecutions. He also represents clients in class actions and business litigation disputes. Prior to joining the firm, Gabriel served as a federal prosecutor in the US Army JAG Corps and as a Special Assistant US Attorney in the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Hawaii.

Max is a partner in the firm’s International Dispute Resolution (IDR) practice. As an energy arbitration specialist and hearing advocate, he advises on an extensive book of cases for international energy majors, power utilities, gas companies, traders, governments and state-owned companies. Max is also a specialist in developing price review renegotiation strategies to assist gas and LNG companies in preparing for, and participating in, price review negotiations. Max has advised on over 15 price review matters.

Over the past 18 months, Squire Patton Boggs has expanded its global practice with new offices in Astana, Amsterdam, Dublin and Saudi Arabia while also adding senior talent across its core practices around the world. The firm has 46 offices across 23 countries.
