Greg Wehrer is the managing partner of the Houston office. Greg brings more than 20 years of experience representing clients in complex commercial disputes, with a focus on the energy, healthcare and construction industries.

Apart from practicing law, Greg serves as Board President of Main Street Theater, a nonprofit providing art and childhood education to the Houston community.

  • Representing major oil and gas companies in disputes with royalty owners, including “confusion of goods” claims and JOA disputes.
  • Representing a provider of Medicare Advantage plans in a dispute with the state of Texas involving procurement and public records requests.
  • On behalf of a national managed care entity, obtaining dismissals of Texas lawsuits brought by a hospital over Medicare audits and reimbursements, and by an independent provider group over contracting issues.
  • Winning a jury award in Texas state court for an energy industry client in a construction defect dispute against a general contractor.
  • Representing a manufacturer of high-pressure pumps (as plaintiff) on a breach of supply agreement claim.
  • Defending a European industrial equipment manufacturer against breach of warranty and indemnity claims.
  • Defending the property owner and general contractor of an environmental remediation project against claims brought by a subcontractor.
  • Obtaining dismissal of all claims in a fraud and breach of fiduciary duty lawsuit related to the acquisition of a multimillion piece of Houston real estate.
  • Winning summary judgment on a significant insurance coverage dispute in Texas federal court.
