Julia Yeo is a regional hub partner for our Labor & Employment and Immigration teams in Asia Pacific, and has been recognized by the 2020 Client Choice Awards as the exclusive winner in the Employment & Benefits category for Singapore.
Julia has extensive experience advising multinational clients on employee transfers and integration projects arising from mergers, acquisitions and amalgamations. In addition, she regularly advises corporate and senior C-suite level clients on all aspects of the employment cycle, from hiring, internal investigations, disciplinary and grievance issues to termination. Drawing from her litigation background, she has had the added advantage of being able to advise clients on contentious employment issues such as disputes on enforceability of restrictive covenants.
Julia also has significant experience advising clients on employment issues arising from their regional offices in Asia, aligning their internal processes with global strategies and adapting them for compliance with the diverse laws in the region. In addition, Julia has developed a highly successful immigration practice assisting multinational corporates in global mobility issues faced when moving their staff within the region.
