Shing Tse is a senior associate in our Litigation Practice, based in the Houston office. Shing has experience representing clients in a variety of complex litigation matters in state and federal courts.

Prior to joining the firm, Shing worked at a litigation boutique in Houston, where he represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of different industries.

  • Representing companies in various industries in nationwide class actions under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) alleging ATDS, pre-recorded calls and DNC violations.
  • Obtaining dismissal of a TCPA suit on behalf of a data and technology provider.
  • Representing defendants in JAMS and AAA arbitrations involving alleged violations of the Federal Wiretap Act, CIPA and related state tort claims in the context of session replay technology and website chat features.
  • Favorably settling a putative nationwide TCPA class action on an individual basis on behalf of a national health insurance provider in the Southern District of Florida arising out of vicarious liability for prerecorded calls and DNC violations.
  • Representing defendants in state and federal courts and in arbitration in disputes arising out of alleged violations of the VPPA.
  • Represented a health insurance provider in a nationwide class action arising out of a data incident involving a downstream vendor.
  • Representing upstream oil and gas companies in joint operating agreement disputes.
  • Representing a major industrial supplier in various breach of contract actions.
  • Representing a petroleum corporation in a contractual dispute in connection with a variety of exploration and production activities.
  • Defending various payor-provider disputes concerning reimbursement rates for out-of-network services.
  • Representing a payor in a Medicare risk adjustment dispute.
  • Representing a major industrial supplier in various breach of contract actions.
  • Representing indirect purchaser plaintiffs in a multibillion-dollar antitrust class action.
