Dr. Nora Thies is a director based in our Berlin office. She advises national and international clients on complex cross-border issues in all fields of commercial law, litigation and arbitration.

Her comprehensive experience comprises drafting and negotiating contracts along the supply chain with a focus on the automotive and medical devices industries, including the regulatory aspects. She has particular experience in advising Israeli companies on their business activities in Germany.

Nora is a member of the German-Israeli Lawyers’ Association.

Prior to joining the firm, Nora was a senior associate at a major German law firm in Berlin and Hamburg.

  • Advising an automotive manufacturer on several complex long-term development and manufacturing agreements for vehicle components.
  • Advising a high performance exhaust and emission control systems manufacturer on a complex framework agreement on development, manufacturing and distribution of exhaust aftertreatment systems for medium speed engines.
  • Advising a manufacturer of copper wire with respect to supply agreements with OEMs.
  • Acting for an international chemicals producer in a DIS arbitration against a German entity in a dispute arising from a distributor agreement.
