Nicoleta Timofti is an experienced US-qualified international disputes and investigations attorney with a strong track record of providing strategic counsel to private clients, government officials, multinational corporations, international financial institutions and sovereign states. Her extensive international practice spans complex and high-value international disputes (both litigations and arbitrations), investigations, involving allegations of fraud and corruption, complex cross-border disputes, white collar criminal defense, anti-money laundering (AML), international corruption, and asset recovery and tracing, including international bankruptcies and asset protection.

With dual training in common and civil law systems and over two decades of experience in US government and private practice, Nicoleta is recognized for her expertise in managing high-profile transnational cases. She works seamlessly with foreign counsel, law enforcement authorities, and regulators both in the US and globally.

As an expert in cross-border litigation, Nicoleta advises clients on a wide array of international dispute resolution issues, including forum selection, jurisdiction, and service of process. She is adept at navigating civil, criminal, and administrative legal systems and has considerable experience in enforcement proceedings, international discovery and insolvency matters. Her international arbitration experience includes representing clients in investment disputes before the ICSID, ICC, PCA and other arbitration institutions, with particular emphasis on energy and natural resources.
