Marion Seranne counsels and advocates for clients in the government investigations and white collar arena, criminal business law and in Environmental Social, and Governance (ESG) compliance and disputes.
Her experience crosses a variety of areas in civil, corporate and criminal contexts, including corruption, illegal financing, pollution, health and safety offences and misuse of corporate assets, as well as fraud and embezzlement. She regularly assists both French and international companies with litigation matters and provides strategic counsel on the development and deployment of compliance programmes, including Sapin II law and Duty of Vigilance law, among others.
As part of the developing ESG regulations in the EU and abroad, Marion advises companies with preparing for and addressing ESG compliance matters. She regularly handles specific risk-assessments and works with clients to address any compliance gaps, particularly in relation to CSRD, CS3D or forced labor. When necessary, she also represents clients in relation to ESG disputes, including those related to regulatory challenges or NGOs claims.
