Sabine Pittrof is an experienced corporate partner in our Frankfurt office. She has delivered value to clients in her core areas of M&A, private equity and corporate law for over 25 years.
She has extensive experience in advising national and international clients on M&A transactions and corporate matters. Sabine has a focus on renewable energies and has also advised on infrastructure projects such as solar and wind farms, waste-to-energy, biomass and sludge incineration plants. Other industry experience includes life sciences, technology, IT, automotive and packaging.
Sabine has a dual legal background from Germany and Australia. She co-chairs the German-Australian Business Council e.V. and is a member of the board of several not-for-profit associations.
- Advising the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on a 500MWp joint venture in the solar sector, constituting the first private energy investment offer in Ukraine since 24 February 2022.
- Acting for the shareholders of German clean tech company Air for All with respect to the sale of 100% of their shares to Apleona Group.
- Advising a large Indonesian group on the purchase of a solar developer in India from a large German utility.
- Advising a Chinese bidder on the proposed large-cap acquisition of a German surface solutions company.
- Advising Island Green Power on the sale of a solar development project in Spain.
- Advising French asset manager Eiffel Investment Group and Austrian bank Kommunalkredit Austria AG regarding the debt side of the acquisition of a 26% share in Global Tech I Offshore Wind GmbH by GE Ventures AG. Global Tech I is Germany’s fourth-largest offshore wind farm in the North Sea, with a total capacity of 400MW.

- Acting for Kurita Europe GmbH on an asset sale to Livia Group.
- Acting for a German investor on the purchase of the remaining shares of two Indian companies.
- Acting as the German law adviser for an Indian investor in the purchase of a German software company.
- Acting for Overland Sun Farming as the German law adviser on the sale of two large-scale solar projects in Australia to Innogy SE.
- Acting for a German investor on the purchase of the remaining shares in a Mexican company.
- Acting for a UK/Australian joint venture as the German law adviser on the sale of several solar projects in Australia to German investors.
- Advising an Indian bank on various corporate and finance matters regarding financing of German acquisitions and projects.
- Providing comprehensive advice to Kurita Europe GmbH on an energy supply agreement for a chemical park.
- Acting for an Australian cleantech company (solar) with respect to market entry in Germany and regarding the sale of real estate.
