Claire Murphy is an associate in the Data Privacy, Cybersecurity & Digital Assets Practice where she specialises in data privacy law, e-commerce, intellectual property and technology (IP&T), and consumer protection law. Prior to joining the firm, Claire was an associate in one of the Big Four accounting organisations.
Data Privacy and Cybersecurity
Claire provides advice on the design and implementation of GDPR readiness. She also conducts privacy compliance audits, analysis of cross-border data flows, drafting of international data transfer agreements and privacy impact assessments, among others.
Consumer Protection/e-Commerce
Claire is involved in day-to-day advice on legal and regulatory issues affecting the B2C relationships of national and international companies, as well as on issues related to e-commerce and advertising, including commercial communications, intermediation service providers, search engines and e-commerce.
Intellectual Property and Technology
In her IP&T practice, Claire is involved in matters relating to trademark law, copyright, software and licensing agreements.
