Brendan Lai is an associate in the firm’s Financial Services Practice Group and Commodities & Shipping Industry Group, with extensive expertise in energy, oil and gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG), renewables, sanctions, mining, asset financing, banking and technology. He has demonstrated a keen understanding of emerging trends within the energy, commodities and finance sector and is adept in handling complex cross-border transactions.
Brendan has advised government-linked corporations, financial institutions, multinational corporations and publicly listed entities on energy related projects around the world, and is part of a team that negotiates commodity, asset and corporate sale contracts, infrastructure development and financing agreements.
