Julia Conci is a member of the Litigation team, based in the Madrid office, providing advice to national and international clients, both in civil and commercial disputes, as well as in arbitral proceedings. Julia also has experience in cross-border proceedings for the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards and judgments and extensive knowledge of insolvency matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Julia worked as a lawyer in the Madrid office of a well-known Spanish law firm as part of its litigation and arbitration practice. Previously, Julia worked at an international insurance company and interned at a big four.

Julia holds a double bachelor’s degree in law and business management and administration, as well as a master's degree in access to the legal profession, both from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Julia contributes to different legal journals and has co-authored several publications on civil procedural law and arbitration.

  • Representing and advising national and international clients in relation to contractual and tort claims in civil and commercial matters of all kinds (insurance sector, energy, construction material manufacturers, agency contracts, distribution, etc.).
  • Representing and advising national and international banking institutions in numerous legal proceedings relating to the validity of certain mortgage loans granted for investment purposes, as well as in insolvency, enforcement (ordinary and foreclosure) and corporate matters.
  • Representing and advising clients in relation to the recognition and enforcement of foreign awards and judgments in Spain against sovereign states and companies.
  • Representation and advice in arbitration proceedings in contractual and corporate matters before various arbitration chambers (International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Court of Arbitration of Madrid (CAM), etc.).
