Jonathan is an expert on technology-enabled privacy programmes. Established and emerging companies seek his support for continuously improving cybersecurity and data privacy operations. As one of 14 legal technologists accredited by the Law Society of Scotland, he advises businesses on data mapping, minimisation, pseudonymisation and privacy-enhancing technologies. He helps senior management prepare for new market entry and create new products and services with data privacy by design.
Jonathan acts as a translator between legal and technology functions to enable secure and innovative data usage to align with business objectives and regulations. Over the past decade, he has enabled senior leaders to identify and manage potentially dangerous data movements with new technologies and techniques.
In addition to his consulting service, Jonathan is an entrepreneur, having co-developed an advanced analytics framework and application packaging toolkit, and he co-founded a data solutions company, Advanced Analytica.
