Aly Bond is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group based in our Columbus office. Aly focuses her practice on the representation of corporate and institutional clients on matters such as merger and acquisition transactions, general corporate governance and other corporate matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Aly worked as an extern at the Ohio attorney general’s office; as an extern in the chambers of the Honorable Michael H. Watson, US district judge; as an extern for Michael P. Donnelly, Supreme Court of Ohio justice; and as an intern at the Federal Aviation Administration.

Additionally, while in law school, Aly served as a managing editor for the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution, as a senator on the Ohio State Inter-Professional Council, and as a board member on the University Conduct Board. She also participated in the school’s Immigration Clinic, and worked as a research assistant for Professor Rebecca Wolitz, who focuses her scholarship on corporate governance and corporate law issues. Aly graduated with two CALI awards in criminal law and trial practice, and with Public Service Fellow, Dean’s Special Recognition honors.

Aly graduated with a degree in theoretical mathematics from The Ohio State University in 2021. In addition to her mathematics coursework, she was a teaching assistant in the Fundamentals of Engineering Honors (FEH) program at Ohio State. She was also heavily involved in aviation during school, including competing on the Ohio State Flight Team, and working as a certified flight instructor at The Ohio State University Airport.
