Mobeen Amin is an associate in our Real Estate Litigation team.

He advises on all aspects of commercial property disputes, including contested and uncontested lease renewals, breach of covenant disputes, nuisance, possession proceedings, break options, alienation, dilapidations, forfeiture and recovery of rent arrears.

Mobeen has experience acting for commercial occupants/retailers, charities, institutional landlords, developers and financial institutions.

Mobeen regularly delivers training, both internally and externally. He is a member of the Property Litigation Association.

  • Defending a substantial dilapidations claim in the sum of over £1.7 million on behalf of a commercial occupant client. This resulted in a financial settlement on favourable terms for the client.
  • Advising a financial occupant client on a claim against its landlord in respect of a significant water ingress matter involving claims for breach of covenant and nuisance. The settlement included a significant payment to the client.
  • Advising an institutional landlord client on a complex vacant possession strategy to facilitate substantial redevelopment of a shopping centre.
