Marija Šćekić
Director
Marija Šćekić is a director in the International Dispute Resolution Practice Group, based in London. She has more than 10 years of experience in international arbitration, across a range of industries and jurisdictions. She has represented clients in both commercial and investment treaty disputes, under various arbitral rules, including the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC), United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) and International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) rules. Marija also acts as an assistant editor of the Journal of International Arbitration (JOIA).

- Represented a client in multiple gas price reviews under the ICC Rules, regarding natural gas imported into European markets.
- Represented a European manufacturing company in an ICC arbitration sited in London, under English and Japanese law, involving claims related to a share purchase agreement.
- Represented a European bank in ICSID investment arbitration proceedings against an Eastern European state.
- Represented an Eastern European manufacturing company in an investment treaty claim against an Eastern European state.
- Represented European investors in an investment treaty claim relating to financial services and real estate investments.
