Stephen Anway and Rostislav Pekař have been named in Jus Connect’s 2025 Data-Backed Arbitration Rankings – Power List: Top Male Arbitration Lawyers (Global), recognizing 50 standout practitioners who shaped arbitration in 2023-2024.
The Power List is based on the number of times a practitioner has been involved in investment and commercial arbitration proceedings as counsel in 2023-2024, identified by data from Jus Mundi’s international arbitration database. The database draws from a variety of objective sources, including global institutions, associations, public sources, and professional insights.
Mr. Anway is Global Co-chair of the firm’s International Dispute Resolution Practice of over 150 attorneys across 25 different countries. He acts as lead counsel and as an arbitrator in international arbitrations, representing the winning party in many of the largest arbitrations in the world over the past 20 years. Mr. Anway has worked in more than 40 countries and has represented clients in some 125 international commercial and investment treaty arbitrations.
Mr. Pekař is Global Head of the firm’s Investment Arbitration Practice. He has advised on a number of complex commercial and investment arbitration matters, some involving claims of more than US$1 billion. Mr. Pekař is ICC Court Member and Member of the ICSID Panel of Arbitrators for the Czech Republic.
