Squire Patton Boggs has advised Mindquest’s shareholders on the sale of the company to Freeland Group, supported by MML as a majority shareholder with IDI and Bpifrance as minority shareholders.
The team advising Mindquest was led by Corporate partner Arnaud Lafarge in Paris, and included Lilia Ammar, Dan Hassett and Eben Kurtz, with Charles Briand and Terry Khayat advising on tax matters.
Founded in 2014 under the name Club Freelance, Mindquest has established itself as a reference technology platform for the recruitment of freelancers in IT and finance. Its expertise ranges from SAP profiles, to developers, cybersecurity experts and financial consultants. Since 2020, Mindquest has expanded its offer to support its clients not only in freelance staffing, but also in the recruitment of IT and financial talent on permanent contracts, consolidating its position with large groups, mid-caps and SMEs, while expanding its international footprint with offices in London, Barcelona and Mauritius.
