Squire Patton Boggs Advises Nationwide on $1.25 Billion Deal

Global law firm Squire Patton Boggs advised Nationwide, one of the largest providers of insurance and financial services products in the U.S., on its definitive agreement to purchase The Allstate Corporation’s (NYSE: ALL) employer stop loss segment for $1.25 billion.

The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2025, subject to customary closing conditions.

The Squire Patton Boggs team was led by Global Managing Partner Michele Connell and included significant contributions from partners Molly McNally, Danielle Asaad, Doug Anderson and Mary Jo Hudson.
