Squire Patton Boggs has won “Corporate Law Firm of the Year” at Insider’s 2024 Yorkshire Dealmakers Awards.
The firm’s Leeds team completed more than 50 deals over the assessed period with a combined value of just under £4 billion. The judges commended the firm's performance, as well as its “ability to navigate complex deal structures.”
In addition to winning Corporate Law Firm of the Year, the firm also won “International Deal of the Year” for the sale of Sewtec Automation to Automated Industrial Robotics, and “Deal of the Year (£25m+)” for the acquisition of Activate Group by Elysian Capital.
Hannah Kendrick, head of the Leeds Corporate team, said, “We are proud to have again won Corporate Law Firm of the Year, for what is the third time in the past four years.
“This recognition means a lot to us because it reflects the views of professionals we work with who know the market and are best-placed to judge our success.”
