Squire Patton Boggs has appointed Michael Wise as a partner in Washington DC, where he will serve as the firm’s US Antitrust Practice Leader. He joins from Paul Hastings LLP where he was partner in the firm’s Antitrust and Competition Practice and led the team handling antitrust regulatory issues.

Mr. Wise is an experienced and highly regarded antitrust practitioner. He advises domestic and global companies, private equity funds, and investors on the full range of antitrust issues. His practice has focused on carful navigation of the antitrust challenges facing mergers and acquisitions, which have become increasingly complex in the US and abroad. He also regularly advises clients on antitrust compliance and has handled civil and criminal antitrust defense work across a variety of industries. Mr. Wise is active in the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Section, including currently serving as a member of the editorial board for the Section’s premier Antitrust Law Developments publication.
