Squire Patton Boggs has been named ‘Law Firm of the Year: Non-Contentious and Advisory’ last night at the 2024 Legalcommunity Labour Awards, held in Milan.
The awards, hosted at the Magna Pars hotel in Milan, celebrate excellence within labour law and personnel management.
Squire Patton Boggs was praised for the quality of its advice and its ability to anticipate the needs of clients thanks to its business-oriented perspective.
Headed by Elsa Mora, the firm’s Labour & Employment team in Milan advises international and Italian clients on a wide range of complex employment law issues, both transactional and dispute-related matters, industrial relations, individual and collective dismissal, and reorganization projects. The team has extensive experience of cross-border projects, including all due diligence, transfer of undertaking and TUPE regulation, director appointment and termination, and negotiation with unions and works council. In addition, it has drafted compensation schemes and corporate policies (including whistleblowing policies), employment contracts, consultancy and service agreements, and drafted and enforced non-competition covenants, as well as managed workplace investigations and related disciplinary proceedings.
