Squire Patton Boggs’ has advised an investment group based in Europe, led by Oakley Capital in partnership with hosting entrepreneurs, Jochen Berger and Thomas Strohe, on its investment in Webcentral’s leading Australian domains, hosting and email provider business.
The Sydney based team advising on the transaction was led by Corporate partner Michael Gajic and included Louisa Hine and Sophie Davey.
Webcentral, a Melbourne-based IT provider, has agreed to sell two-thirds of its Webcentral and Melbourne IT domain name registry, consumer hosting and email hosting services business, which offers an extensive portfolio of digital services to small and medium businesses and enterprises across Australia and New Zealand.
