Squire Patton Boggs Appoints New Private Equity Partner to Growing Team in Germany

Squire Patton Boggs has hired private equity and corporate lawyers Norman Wasse as a Partner and Dr. Marion von Grönheim as senior associate in its global Corporate Practice Group, in Frankfurt. Mr. Wasse joins the firm from McDermott Will & Emery where he was partner in its Frankfurt office. Ms. von Grönheim was associate at McDermott Will & Emery.

Mr. Wasse advises clients on corporate law and complex corporate transactions, with a particular emphasis on advising German and international clients on mid-market private equity and strategic cross-border M&A. His private equity practice involves working mostly with German and US mid-market funds. His work covers a wide range of sectors with an acknowledge expertise in the technology and software industries, including media technology, med-tech and the intersection of tech with life sciences and healthcare.

Ms. von Grönheim focuses her practice on corporate law, specializing in multi-jurisdictional and cross-border M&A, private-equity transactions, corporate restructuring, and insolvency-law issues. Her broad sector expertise includes technology and software industries as well as regulated industries (including healthcare, life science and financial services).
