Squire Patton Boggs has advised Gordon Brothers, the global advisory and investment firm, on its acquisition of global consumer electronics brand Telefunken.
Squire Patton Boggs advised Gordon Brothers on all legal aspects of the transaction with a team led by Corporate partner Sascha Konwalski and Financial Services partner Andreas Lehmann, and which included Dr. Kai Mertens, Dr. Sandra Müller, Dr. Jan Henrik Pesek, Dagmar Nolden, Tom Gassmann and Tarek Khalil.
Based in Frankfurt, Germany, Telefunken has become one of the leading names in the electronics sector with a diverse portfolio of products ranging from video, e-mobility, domestic appliances, and audio. Gordon Brothers will invest in the brand to drive further growth of the already successful enterprise within its existing product categories and bring Telefunken products to a younger consumer segment.
