Squire Patton Boggs has won “Corporate Law Firm of the Year” and Mae Salem has been crowned “Emerging Dealmaker of the Year” at Insider’s Yorkshire Dealmakers Awards 2022.
The firm’s Leeds team completed more than 60 deals over the assessed period with a combined value of more than £2 billion. The judges commended the size of the firm’s deals, describing its performance as “head and shoulders above the rest.”
On Mae Salem, the judges were “impressed by the complexity and size of the deals Mae has led, which were backed by a string of glowing client testimonials.”
In addition to winning Corporate Law Firm of the Year, the firm also won Deal of the Year (£25 million and above) for advising on the majority investment in Progeny by Further Global Capital Management.
