Squire Patton Boggs has advised TPI Composites, Inc., (Nasdaq: TPIC) on its acquisition of a team of engineering resources from EUROS Entwicklungsgesellschaft für Windkraftanlagen GmbH, based in Berlin, Germany.
The team advising TPI Composites, Inc. was led by Financial Services partner Andreas Lehmann and included Corporate partner Rouven Schwab, Labor & Employment partner Lutz Hoheisel, Intellectual Property & Technology partner Iliana Haleen and Corporate director Peter Zapf.
The EUROS group, which has been owned by Senvion since 2016, develops rotor blades made of composite materials for onshore and offshore wind turbines worldwide. The Berlin-based team of approximately 20 technical experts focuses on blade design, tooling, materials and process technology development.
TPI Composites, Inc. is the only independent manufacturer of composite wind blades for the wind energy market with a global manufacturing footprint. TPI is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona and operates factories throughout the US, China, Mexico, Turkey and India, as well as additional engineering development centers in Denmark and Germany.
