Squire Patton Boggs in Leeds won Professional Services Firm of the Year at TheBusinessDesk’s Yorkshire Business Masters Awards last night. Now in their eighth year, the annual awards were announced at a dinner at the Queens Hotel in Leeds. The awards, attended by more than 300 people, recognised businesses in categories including innovation, fast growth and international trade.
Commenting on the win, office managing partner John Alderton said: “This is a terrific achievement, underlining our market leading status in the Yorkshire professional services market and the strength, depth and breadth of the whole Leeds office team. The Judges commented on the number and value of deals we have been involved with, our thought leadership work with initiatives such as Trade Talks, our commitment to developing our people including our apprentice programme and our work in the local Community in particular the £33,000 we raised for Yorkshire Cancer Research and our involvement with the Legal Social Mobility Programme.”
