Squire Patton Boggs has won the award for Best Training Contract from graduate advice website AllAboutLaw, at its Top Law Firms for Training Contracts & Vacation Schemes 2016-17 awards. The awards, held in London at the end of September, are based on feedback from trainee satisfaction surveys completed by UK-based first year trainees, second year trainees and first year NQs, all of whom were asked to rate their firm, their training and their overall experience.

In addition to winning Best Training Contract (US Firm), the firm was also a finalist in the categories of Best for Skills Development – Training Contract and Best Vacation Scheme.

“We are excited to have won this award, which is testament to the hard work, skill and care of a large group of people, from the HR and graduate recruitment team, partner supervisors, graduate partners, and the training and development team, in order to create such a great place to work that is full of opportunities and experiences,” said the firm’s training principal Giles Chesher.

This award is one of a number of training and recruitment awards won by Squire Patton Boggs this year. In May, Giles Chesher was named Best Training Principal for firms with a large trainee intake by LawCareers.net at their annual Training and Recruitment Awards.
