Effective from 1 July 2023, the Fair Work Commission (FWC) has announced a 5.75% raise to Australia's National Minimum Wage (NMW), as well aligning it with a higher classification within the Manufacturing Award (effectively providing those paid the NMW with an 8.6% pay increase). The FWC has also announced an increase to modern award minimum wages of 5.75%.
