Ivan Chalupa focuses his practice mainly on M&A transactions and corporate finance. Ivan also has extensive experience with disputes before Czech courts, insolvency proceedings and regulatory matters. He also practices in the field of succession planning for private clients.
Ivan started with the firm as a law clerk, spent his three-year compulsory traineeship as a registered legal trainee and from 2014, he is an attorney-at-law in the Prague office.
Ivan is a co-author of several publications published by C. H. Beck and Wolters Kluwer, the last being Commented Case Law to the Limited Liability Company (Wolters Kluwer, 2022) and Commented Case Law to the Joint Stock Company (Wolters Kluwer, 2022).
Ivan is also a co-author of the Practical Manual to the Business Corporations Act, developed as an add-on to a legal information system ASPI operated by Wolters Kluwer.
From 2018, Ivan has taught Financial Services Law at the Institute of Economic Studies at Charles University in Prague.
