Marta Robles advises national and international clients on all types of judicial and arbitration proceedings before different institutions (such as the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and the Madrid Chamber of Commerce). Marta’s practice has focused on civil and commercial procedural matters, including contractual and non-contractual liability, interpretation of contracts, damages, corporate disputes, renewable energies, financial and banking products, and distribution and supply contracts, as well as hidden defects. Marta also specialises in cross-border proceedings for the recognition and enforcement in Spain of foreign judicial awards and judgments.

Marta holds a double degree in law and journalism from Universidad San Pablo CEU, where she obtained an Academic Achievement Excellence Scholarship, and she is a lecturer in the Civil Department at University Carlos III, Madrid.

Marta speaks Spanish and English. She has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 2015.

  • Representing a financial entity in a judicial proceeding against the governing body of an autonomous community in relation to the early maturity of a loan and the corresponding compensation.
  • Representing a leading Spanish energy company in a judicial proceeding related to the responsibility of the different energy agents in the distribution of electricity.
  • Representing a multinational company in the aluminium sector in a judicial proceeding related to the termination of a contract for the supply of painted aluminium coils.
  • Representing a Spanish corporate group in an arbitration proceeding before the Madrid Chamber of Commerce in connection with the corporate blocking of one of the companies of the group.
  • Representing a wholesale distribution company in a construction litigation resulting from the constructive defects and the damages caused in one of its mayor shopping malls.
  • Representing a company in the energy sector in a legal proceeding related to the electric consume interruption demand management service.
  • Representing a leading Spanish company in the cleaning products sector in a legal proceeding relating to the termination of an essential distribution contract.
  • Representing an insurance company in a judicial proceeding related to the distribution of defective products.
  • Representing both debtors and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.
