Tamara Benáková advises clients in international or domestic disputes concerning areas of private international law, public international law and the law of the EU.
Tamara has represented clients in both arbitration and court litigation. In investor-state arbitration and commercial arbitration, Tamara has represented sovereign states, state-owned enterprises and private enterprises in disputes related to various industry sectors, including energy, construction, telecommunications, mining and finance. She has particular experience with commercial and investment disputes connected to armed conflicts.
Her expertise in court litigation covers rights arising from breach of contractual obligations, directors’ duties towards companies or real estate disputes.
Apart from her legal expertise, Tamara has a master’s degree in finances. Her knowledge of asset valuation is valuable, specifically in damages quantification or in disputes concerning corporate financing.
