Wail Alkahtany’s practice includes M&A, capital markets, regulatory compliance, corporate governance and contractual disputes.
A Saudi national, he previously served as general counsel with a financial investment company, chief legal counsel at the Ministry of Finance and a member of the board of the Capital Market Authority. Wail also has experience working with one of the world’s largest integrated energy and chemicals companies, as well as international law firms.
Wail is qualified to practice in two US states and Saudi Arabia.
- Advised on various legal issues in relation to legal corporate structuring of local and international investments, including in relation to M&A transactions, as well as contracting and regulatory compliance.
- Advised on capital market transactions, including various public and private offerings.
- Advised on regulatory development, including leading a team in charge of major financial regulatory reforms.
