Squire Patton Boggs has won the ‘Retaining Talent Award’ at the Law.com Women, Influence & Power in Law Awards 2024. The Awards, held in London this week, honoured some of the UK legal market’s best and brightest women lawyers for their achievements over the past year, as well as some of the initiatives being run by organisations in support of developing and retaining talent.
The firm was recognised for its organisational strategy, rooted in its commitment to creating a flexible and family-friendly workplace that enables its teams to perform at their best.
Victoria Leigh, who leads the firm’s Gender Diversity Resource Group in the UK, said: “The ability to retain our top talent has never been so important, particularly when it comes to addressing the gender imbalance prevalent in our industry.
“We aim to make our firm a place where people choose to invest their future, and so to win this award is a fantastic endorsement of the measures we have introduced in support of our colleagues as they build their careers with us.”
Squire Patton Boggs is ranked by Working Families as a top 30 family-friendly employer in the UK and a top 20 firm in the Social Mobility Employer Index.
