We are delighted to be hosting our inaugural Sports Governance Forum, where we will be addressing some of the most pressing issues facing those who regulate sport in the UK (and internationally).
Good governance is vital for ensuring transparency, accountability, integrity and financial hygiene across all levels of the sporting pyramid. These are essential ingredients for the success, credibility and long-term sustainability of any sporting organisation. Nevertheless, in a world of rapid technological development, environmental pressure and scrutiny around the welfare and safety of participants, decision-makers face increasingly tough decisions.
Our packed afternoon agenda will feature four panel discussions, where leading experts will discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by the following topics:
Duty of Care Spotlight: Is athlete welfare an afterthought to profit and performance?
Tech takeover? Data, AI and the future of sports governance
Is it time for a National Sports Integrity Agency?
What role should central government be playing in sports governance?
We will hear from a superb roster of panellists, including:
Chris Anderson – Head of Regulatory Affairs at City Football Group, and former Head of Football Governance Review at DCMS
Omar Chaudhuri – Chief Intelligence Officer, Twenty First Group

Who Should Attend?
This event will be particularly relevant to sports governing bodies, regulators, integrity units, leagues and event organisers. However, the issue of sports governance is pervasive to almost everyone working in the sector, so we also invite athletes, clubs and teams, broadcasters and media companies, agents and intermediaries, sponsors, investors and any other stakeholders impacted or interested in this field to register their interest in attending by clicking above. We will then be in touch to confirm availability. Once capacity has been reached, we will operate a waitlist.
