    Partners Elias Hayek and Kevin McCart are speaking at the International Bar Association’s Annual Conference in Rome in early October. The conference brings together leading international figures, including officials from the government and multilateral institutions, general counsel and experts from across all practice areas and continents.

    Elias will participate in two sessions “Embracing the future of holiday law today: current trends in travel and tourism law” on Monday and “Fun in the legal sun: the lawyer‘s role in hotel, resort and casino transactions” on Tuesday. Kevin will speak on the “Cross-border enforcement of trade sanctions” on Tuesday.

    Elias was recently appointed to a two-year term as vice-chair of the IBA Leisure Industries Section in the Legal Practice Division, and serves as the IBA’s vice-chair of the Corporate Counsel Forum and as an officer of the Arab Regional Forum of the Legal Practice Division.
