Katarzyna Witkowska-Pertkiewicz is a senior associate in our Labour & Employment Practice Group. She has had more than a dozen years’ professional experience handling individual and collective labour law issues.

Katarzyna advises on labour and employment law, including compliance and commercial matters. She works with clients operating in the pharmaceuticals, commerce, IT, technology and medical devices sectors.

She actively participates in proceedings before courts of all instances, including before the Polish Supreme Court, representing her clients’ interests with a great deal of diligence and professionalism. Katarzyna has represented clients in court proceedings involving such issues as unreasonable termination, overtime pay and workplace accident compensation.

In 2022, she completed a postgraduate course titled “Positive Organization – Wellbeing and Health at the Workplace” at the prestigious Kozminski University, which enhanced her approach to legal issues by adding to it a workplace wellness and mental health perspective.

Katarzyna has not only authored many articles, but she has also hosted labour law workshops and trainings for clients, particularly concerning employee mental health, incentive systems, anti-mobbing and -discrimination programmes, as well as diversity and inclusiveness initiatives.

  • Representing a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) employer in labour law court disputes, including workplace mobbing.
  • Handling day-to-day HR and trade union relations matters for a leading Polish bank.
  • Advising a leading nationwide developer selling residential and commercial properties on restructuring and updating bonus rules for all employees across the organisation.
  • Advising a video games and technology company on internal investigations, as well as on remote and hybrid teams’ work organisation.
  • Advising a leading automotive company on implementing remuneration and work rules, as well as on other employment matters, such as drafting and terminating employment contracts.
  • Advising a construction company on individual and collective labour law matters, as well as on employee disputes.
