Helen Thoma is an associate and member of the Litigation Practice Group based in our Böblingen office. She advises and represents national and international clients in commercial litigation and extrajudicial proceedings, with a particular focus on complex international product safety and product liability disputes in the automotive sector. Helen further advises clients on issues related to intellectual property (IP) law and information technology, as well as on liability risks related to sustainability issues in the area of environmental, social and governance (ESG).

After her law studies at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, where she focused on IP and antitrust law, Helen completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Stuttgart. During her legal training, she gained experience working in international law firms, in an IP boutique in Munich, as well as at the Superior Court of California in Sacramento.
