Squire Patton Boggs Makes Global Board Appointments

Squire Patton Boggs is pleased to announce that partners Digna French (Litigation, Miami) and Greg Gale (Corporate, New York) have been elected by the firm’s partners to serve on the Global Board with terms commencing on January 1, 2024.

Their appointments continue our tradition of maintaining a strong governance structure to steer the firm’s strategic direction while staying true to our special culture that makes Squire Patton Boggs a great place to work.”

Greg’s practice focuses on transactional matters, including cross-border transactions, private equity, leveraged finance, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, and private companies. He also represents insurance companies providing representation and warranties insurance coverage. Greg previously served as Managing Partner of the firm’s New York office.

Digna focuses her practice on complex, commercial litigation, as well as cross-border and international litigation in both state and federal courts. Digna also maintains an active appellate practice. She has specialized in defending sovereign nations and multinational corporations in issues relating to expropriations and seizures, international claims, domestication of foreign judgments, and general business issues, including breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and interference with advantageous business relations. Digna also serves as chair of the Litigation Practice in Florida.

They replace Cip Beredo (Corporate, Cleveland) and Karol Denniston (Restructuring & Insolvency, San Francisco) who end their Board service at the end of the year.

Earlier this year the firm announced several leadership appointments, including several new Office Managing Partners and Practice Group Leaders. It also announced new office openings in markets including Amsterdam, Dublin and Riyadh, as well senior hires into most of its core practice areas.
