Join us at our October Employment Workshop when we will use a case study to explore the key legal and practical issues that arise when managing underperforming employees.
We will consider:
How poor must poor performance be?
HR’s role in managing performance – how you can get the best out of your managers
Difficult areas, including how to deal with an employee who raises a grievance or takes sick leave during the process
The impact of disability on performance
Common pitfalls and how to avoid them
Hints and tips to ensure your procedures stand up in an employment tribunal
The aim of our workshop programme this year is to provide practical guidance for employers on how to protect their business against legal claims and how to maximise the chances of success if matters do end up in tribunal.
As always, you will have the opportunity to ask questions of our lawyers, as well as share experiences with other delegates.
This workshop is suitable for in-house lawyers and line managers with responsibility for managing performance, as well as HR professionals.
