Andrew Glaze is a partner in our Corporate Practice Group based in our Birmingham office. He has over 25 years of experience advising clients on the full range of corporate transactions.

Andrew specializes in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions including takeovers, mergers, reconstructions and joint ventures and has advised in connection with a number of hostile and recommended public takeovers and equity market fundraisings.

Andrew provides specialist advice to FTSE, AIM and private groups in relation to all aspects of company law and regulatory compliance and regularly presents at client training sessions and seminars on topical legal issues.

  • Advising a large Croatian Hyper-Car manufacturer in connection with its joint venture with Volkswagen and Porsche to form EV Hyper-Car manufacturer Bugatti Rimac.
  • Advised Genuit Group plc (formerly Polypipe) on its £120 million cash box placing.
  • Advised the trustees of the Meggitt Pension plan in connection with the £6.7 billion recommended cash acquisition of FTSE 100 defence contractor Meggitt plc by Parker Hannifin Corporation.
  • Advised Raksha Energy Holdings Limited on its successful offer to acquire the issued ordinary share capital of AIM quoted Mytrah Energy valued at approximately £78.9 million.
  • Advising Homeserve PLC on a series of Acquisitions, including the £53 million acquisition of CET Structures.
  • Advising Homeserve PLC on a large intra-group reorganisation to re-align its UK and US operations.
  • Advising Hackman Capital Partners on its acquisition of Wardpark Studios Limited owner of the largest film studio in Scotland.
  • Advising the shareholders of Holidaysplease Limited on their sale to Travel Counsellors.
  • Advising a large European Hotel operator in connection with the acquisition of several Companies owning and operating hotel businesses throughout the UK.
  • Acted for Montreux Holdings Plc in connection with its acquisition of the Huntercombe Group Plc.
  • Advising an AIM-listed plc in connection with its recommend takeover by a listed Chinese acquirer, the first deal of its type in the UK.
  • Advised the shareholders of Keycom plc in connection with the recommended takeover of Keycom by UKB Networks Limited.
  • Advising an AIM-quoted property investment company on its hostile reverse takeover of a target company listed on the London Stock Exchange’s main market and the Channel Islands Stock Exchange.
  • Advising a household name motor manufacturer in connection with the disposal of its Formula 1 interests.
  • Advising a midlands-based FTSE 350 company on a multijurisdictional cross-border class one transaction.
  • Advising a FTSE 250 company on a series of cross-border acquisitions.
  • Advising a FTSE 250 support service provider on a £116 million recommended takeover of an AIM company using cash, loan notes and shares.
