Squire Patton Boggs has announced the appointment of Labor & Employment Practice partner Sarah Lawrence, who joins the firm in Dubai from DLA Piper.
Ms. Lawrence, who has considerable experience advising clients on all aspects of employment law across the Middle East, specializes in advising on senior executive appointments and terminations, immigration matters for the recruitment and termination of employees, handling labour claims across the region and dealing with restructuring projects and the employment aspects of corporate transactions.
Ms. Lawrence has been based in Dubai since 2013, advising multinational and domestic clients on a full spectrum of employment law issues, both onshore and within the region’s free zones, including the Dubai International Finance Centre. Her expertise in cross-border issues, outsourcing and restructuring means she is a highly sought after practitioner and has extensive experience advising clients across a range of sectors, including technology, media, finance, aerospace, defense and security, and real estate.
