For the third consecutive year Squire Patton Boggs will be presented with a Beacon of Justice Award by The National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA). The Award will be presented at the NLADA’s annual Exemplar Gala in recognition of the firm’s efforts to address issues related to civil & human rights.
In 2023, Squire continued its work on a diverse range of pro bono matters that advanced social justice, supported nonprofit organizations, and provided individual assistance to those in need. The firm’s Public Service Initiative, a NY based team of lawyers focused on pro bono criminal justice cases, also handled several consequential innocence and death penalty litigation cases.
Founded in 1911, NLADA is America’s oldest and largest nonprofit association devoted to excellence in the delivery of legal services to those who cannot afford counsel.
