Squire Patton Boggs has once again been recognized as one of the world's most successful firms for international arbitration, with the firm ranked 10th in Global Arbitration Review’s prestigious GAR 30.
Highlighting that the firm’s international arbitration practice “has been growing at a remarkable rate,” GAR noted that Squire Patton Boggs “fields a formidable team for investment arbitration that is attracting new sovereign clients” and that it has “maintained its strong bet-the-company performance.”
Some of the firm’s highlights include:
- increasing its docket to 204 international arbitrations totalling US$133.53 billion;
- achieving some of the year’s largest and most significant investment treaty arbitration victories for Turkmenistan, Ecuador, Colombia, Croatia and Kosovo.
- expanding the team with the addition of new partners Charles “Chip” Rosenberg (Washington DC) and Naomi Briercliffe (London), and of counsel Victor Datry (Paris) and Bryan Dayton (Dubai);
- 14 lawyers are named in Who’s Who Legal. José Feris (Paris) and Rostislav Pekař (Prague) were named Who’s Who Legal Thought Leaders for Arbitration, and Michelle Bock (Brussels) was named a Global Leader for “Energy – Oil and Gas.”
