Stephen P. Anway has been named in Jus Connect’s 2023 Power List of ‘Most Active Male Arbitration Lawyers’ in recognition of his active participation in arbitration and his deep-seated expertise and knowledge in the sector.
The Power List considers arbitration cases from 2022 to 2023, identified by data from Jus Mundi’s international arbitration database, drawn from a variety of objective sources, including global institutions, associations, public sources, and professional insights.
Mr. Anway is Global Co-chair of the firm’s International Dispute Resolution Practice of over 140 attorneys across 20 different countries. He acts as lead counsel and as an arbitrator in international arbitrations, representing the winning party in many of the largest arbitrations in the world over the past 20 years. Mr. Anway has worked in more than 40 countries and has represented clients in some 150 international commercial and investment treaty arbitrations. In 2022, Mr. Anway was recognised by Law360 as one of five MVPs in international arbitration, marking the second time in the last five years that he has won this award.
Mr. Anway also is an Adjunct Professor of Law, teaching courses on international commercial and investment treaty arbitration.
