Crain’s New York Business has named Squire Patton Boggs partner Corrine Irish to its 2022 list of Notable Diverse Leaders In Law. The publication recognizes diverse attorneys from top law firms who stand out for their counseling and the nature of their pro bono work, and for demonstrating a commitment to community service, philanthropy, professional mentorship and DEI initiatives.
Ms. Irish is an experienced litigator and strategic legal advisor on subject matters including contract disputes, business torts, intellectual property enforcement and defense, constitutional law, and employment matters.
She also serves as Squire Patton Boggs’ Director of Pro Bono, where she manages the firm’s pro bono practice in the US and several overseas offices. Ms. Irish has a long-standing commitment to pro bono as one of the founding members of the firm’s Public Service Initiative.
Ms. Irish has successfully litigated cases of capital punishment, life imprisonment and civil rights violations for indigent clients involving a miscarriage of justice and/or a denial of fundamental rights. She has served as counsel for amici clients before the US Supreme Court in landmark criminal constitutional law cases. She also represents low-income artists and arts organizations on compliance and intellectual property matters.
