Squire Patton Boggs has joined the Reignite Academy, part of its long-term commitment to improving diversity and inclusion at the firm.
The Reignite Academy works in partnership with law firms to provide opportunities for lawyers who have taken a break from city careers and want to return to private practice.
Alison Treliving, co-chair of the firm’s Labour & Employment Practice and a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee, commented: “We have ambitious growth plans and in order to continue to build a diverse and inclusive culture at the firm, it is critical that we recruit from a wide talent pool. We see women returning to the law as an important source of future talent and key to improving representation of women in the partnership.”
Squire Patton Boggs recently signed up to an initiative in the US led by Diversity Lab’s OnRamp Fellowship to bring more female lawyers back to the profession. The Reignite Academy mirrors this effort in the UK.
